Be Undeniable Privacy Policy

Effective: August 17, 2026. Updated August 21, 2026.

Be Undeniable ("the app") is built local-first. Your training and nutrition data lives on your device, and most of the app works without an account.

What we collect

  • Workout, nutrition, and body data you enter is stored in a local database on your device. It is not sent to our servers unless you sign in and use cloud features.
  • Optional account info. If you create an account you give us an email address and a display name / handle. Accounts power cloud sync, the friends feed, and coaching. Creating an account is optional.
  • Synced fitness data. When you are signed in, your profile, weekly training stats, posts you share, and coach connections are stored on our servers (hosted on Supabase) so they can sync across devices and be shown to people you share them with. All transfers are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Health platform data (steps, sleep, weight from Apple Health or Health Connect) is read only with your explicit permission and used on-device to display your stats and power training recommendations. Bodyweight you log can be written back if you allow it. Health platform data is never sold or shared.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics. The app sends crash reports and performance diagnostics to Sentry, our crash-reporting service provider, so we can fix bugs. These reports are not used for advertising.
  • Food database queries. Food searches are sent to the USDA FoodData Central and OpenFoodFacts public APIs. Queries contain only the food text you type, never your identity or health data.
  • AI features. When you use the AI coach, meal photo, label scan, or describe-a-meal features, the text or photo you submit and the relevant training and nutrition context are sent to our AI processor (Anthropic) through our own servers to generate the response. This only happens when you trigger an AI feature, requests are metered by a daily allowance, and the processor does not use your content to train models. Nothing is sent for users who do not use these features.
  • Location. Outdoor cardio recording uses your phone's GPS, with your permission, to measure distance and pace; routes are stored on your device (and in Apple Health or Health Connect if you allow it). Gym check-ins share which gym you are at with people you choose, for up to a few hours, only when you check in. The worldwide activity map ("The Pulse") shows approximate regions only: about a 70-mile cell derived from location you already shared through outdoor cardio or gym check-ins, or just your country otherwise. Your exact location is never sent to our servers.
  • Activity totals. To power the worldwide map and leaderboards, your device reports small totals (workouts finished, weight lifted, meals logged, steps, cardio distance, personal records, training minutes) to our servers at most a few times a day. These are numbers, not workout details, and they are used for your own leaderboard rank and for aggregate counts shown to everyone. This is first-party product data; it is never sold.
  • Content you share. Posts, comments, and profile info you publish in the feed are visible to other users according to the audience you pick (public or friends).

Payments

Subscriptions are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your card details. Purchase records are handled by the store you bought from.

What we don't do

  • No ads and no third-party advertising SDKs.
  • We do not sell your data.
  • No account is required for core functionality.

Data deletion

  • Account and cloud data: delete your account inside the app (Training hub, Profile tab, "Delete account") or follow the steps at Delete your account. Deletion removes your profile, posts, comments, followers, coach links, and synced stats from our servers. There is no undo.
  • Local data: deleting the app removes all local data on your device. Health permissions can be revoked anytime in your device settings.
